Welcome to ‘Bush and Island Charters’, where members using any version of Microsoft or X-Plane Flight Simulator can fly ‘bush’ or ‘Island hopping’ flights to their hearts content.
Bush and Island Charters Currently operates in the Caribbean, North America/Canada, Papua New Guinea/Solomon Islands, French Polynesia, New Zealand and Australia,
We have a fleet of both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft, and flights range from bush flights to realistic 'sling load' helicopter cargo flights, with many more in between.
Another opportunity our pilots migh take, is to take part in the seasonal "Wildfire" missons, the chance to fly "realistic fire-fighting flights" in both fixed and rotary wing aircraft
Flights with B & I can be flown online (Vatsim/IVAO etc) or offline, the choice is yours. The only compulsory is that you use FSAirlines flight tracker.
Bush and Island is an “FSAirlines” certified VA, and we use their flight tracker for flight verification and virtual accounting. It's therefore a requirement of membership that you must also have registered an account with FSAirlines.
New members of Bush and Island are classed as ‘Company pilots on probation’ until they have completed 6 flights, when they are upgraded to ‘Company Pilot‘, and apart from that, there is no ranking system in place. Commitment is also minimal, requiring only that you log into the FSAirlines website once in any thirty day period and complete at least one flight in any three months to retain membership.
